Uncoated recycled stock gives a matte, tactile, understated look that pairs well with minimal type and soft color; it prints beautifully in flat, muted palettes though it can slightly mute vivid gradients, so we advise designing to the stock's character rather than fighting it. Where a brand wants a brighter white or a smoother field, SBS remains an option, and we can talk through the trade-offs between appearance and recycled content. Interior print is where skincare cartons add real value. The inside of a tuck-end or the underside of the lid is prime space for a short routine, application steps, batch or period-after-opening panels, and a brand note. Printing the interior means the box keeps working after it is opened and on the shelf in a bathroom. Finishing stays restrained to match the category — soft-touch or matte lamination, a spot UV or foil logo for a considered accent — rather than heavy gloss.
