A window box replaces part of a printed panel with a die-cut aperture, so the product itself becomes the hero on the shelf. For handmade soaps, baked goods, candles, toys, and gourmet food, seeing the real item builds trust that a photo can't. The window can be left open for texture and scent, or patched with clear film to protect contents while keeping visibility.
The trade-off is structural: cutting a window removes material, so the panel loses some rigidity. We place and size the window to preserve strength — keeping enough frame around the aperture and, where needed, choosing a heavier caliper to compensate.
